I was fortunate enough to attend the eighth appearance of the Tennessee Tech Tuba Ensemble at Carnegie Weill Hall this past Thursday evening. They offered a truly outstanding performance of a truly formidable chunk of music to a nearly sold-out crowd, who gave them not one but TWO standing ovations.
I want to give a HUGE thanks to my former professor, mentor, and hero Winston Morris for his support of me and my music, as well as to the students in the group for putting in tremendous effort and time into working up not only my piece but the entire program. It was a concert I'll never forget!

Jorijn van Hese, a Dutch euphoniumist, just completed a multi-track recording of my piece for euphonium choir, "Rush Hour." He's done a really fine job with it, and even turned the performance into a multi-camera YouTube video. Check out his first solo cd release, "Dutch Variations."
